Fourth of July

We had a wonderful 4th. Mom and Dad came up a little early to celebrate Kaylee's birthday and spent the 4th of July with us. The kids had a great time playing with their Nana ( Trev calls her Nina) and Papa! Uncle Dan, Aunt Kiki, and their favorite cousin. Kaylee came over for dinner and we watched fireworks in our front yard. We had a few sparklers and a grand finale as I called it. The kids said it could have been a little bigger, Mom:) Our neighbors, however had some rockin' fireworks. Loved it!
Yesterday I had the Blackshear kids over for Kimmy Kamp. I love doing fun activities! We had an art table, workbook station, playdoh table, popsicles and sprinker time, and free time.. 8:00-5:00. They had so much fun! Check out the fun pictures on shutterfly!

Summer Time!

I love summer! We have already had a fun filled beginning of summer with a dance recital, vbs, a trip to South Padre, and now basketball camp. We had a wonderful trip to the valley and spent a whole week with my parents and sis's family at padre. We also attended my Grandma Wood's funeral. Sad but very beautiful. I will miss her dearly and loved her very much! This weekend is my niece, Kaylee's 2nd birthday. We will be celebrating Barney Style. My parents are on their way a little early because Hurricane Alex is headed for the Valley. Lots of fun and sun planned for the rest of the summer!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

What a wonderful Christmas and New Years we had. It was full of family, food, and fun! We had a busy December at church and with all the family that came to visit. Santa was so good to us and of course Jesus was the whole reason for this wonderful time we had. We feel so blessed with all the love we got to share with everyone. My mom and dad made the trip and we were so excited to spend our time with them. The kids had so much fun playing with Papa Wood! My Cousins Heather, her hubby Stephen, and Wade, and Aunt Tracey made it in town. We had some good cousin time! We had a fabulous Concienne Christmas with Ryan's side.. tons of toys and lots of playing going on there! Christmas Eve service was so beautiful! The kids enjoyed the music and the message, there was even a real live baby playing Jesus! That was exciting! New Years was spent with some close friends from church.. Our new tradition.. 10 adults, 12 kids.. lot of fireworks and lot of Wii band hero.. I am so blessed with the wonderful friends that we have! Love them all! Aaron and Allison had a stay up as late as you can night.. at their friends house.. Thank You, Breneks.. they had a blast.. and got to visit with their Momo Hawkins and cousin Amanda! To end our holiday fun we had the Bench Christmas (our best friends) at our house and a kid sleep over swap. We had the boys and they had the girls. Lots of fun... now time for the kiddos to go back to school and have our routine back!
